I’m Rhonda Monroe, a ranch-dwelling, book-writing, chicken-chasing grandma with a whole lot of stories to tell. I write children’s books inspired by my amazing grandchildren, original songs from the soul, and puzzle books with a little sass and a lot of heart. Every creation at Monroe Ranch Shasta is rooted in faith, family, and a deep love for everyday country magic.

I started writing because I wanted my grandchildren to see themselves in books—and now, I’m sharing those stories with other families, too. From Jasper’s Bug Hunt in Old Shasta to Max the Mighty and the Power of Giving, each book carries a message of wonder, kindness, and joy.
